                  Lee Ohliger - Player of Year Coordinator

          Point Leaders for Player of the Year   12/07/03 - 11/20/04          

The final results are in for the 2004 Player of the Year contest.  The  
November sectional and the Reitman team games were the last two events. 
In general, the category leaders prior to these last two events held on 
to win, but in the novice category, Barbara Levay leapt from 4th place  
to first to win.  In the Intermediates, James Sundstrom held off a      
last-minute surge from Michael Varhalamas.  Victor Hsu retained his lead
in the Non-Life Master category, as did Lee Ohliger in the Life Master  
under 1000 category.  In another remarkable performance, Tod Thorgersen   
has won over 90 points in Player of the Year events to win both the Life 
Master over 1000 category and the overall Player of the Year award.

    All points awarded at the Annual Dinner (Seiden Trophy), Unit 106
    Sectionals held at one location (Allendale), John Macchi Unit Wides,
    Bob Johnke Teams, and the Nelson Reitman Teams are used. No other
    event qualifies. All over 1000 eligible for LM award.
