Point Leaders for Player of the Year 12/02/01 - 11/21/02

With only the final of the Reitman KO unreported, we have definite winners for each of our categories. Our Player of the Year in the Over 1000 category, and the player with the highest number of points in any category, is Tod Thorgersen, coming in just shy of 70 points for the year. Andy Muenz, leading his Under 1000 category comfortably for the entire year, maintained his lead and finished with the second highest number of points in any category. It was a good year for the Humphreys family, with Bruce finishing first in the Under 300 group and Ryan finishing first in his, fending off a last minute spurt from Jonathan Ohliger. The Novice category saw some action, with Jaydeb Kundu winning his category by just under two points over John Dell Osso, who moved from fourth place to second. Congratulations to all the winners.

We look forward to seeing you and many others at the Annual Dinner to kick off the new year and a new Player of the Year race. Get those reservations in soon. Note: In computing these totals, points were awarded for first and second place in the Reitman based on the current standings, with the Baranoff team in first and the Friedman team in second. Should the Friedman team ultimately prevail, the first place winners will remain the same in all categories and there would be a change in the Under 1000 category.
