Richard Lighton - Literary Award
This award is presented at the Annual Dinner, usually by the Newsletter
Editor, to a person who has contributed much in the newsletter for the
enjoyment of the members of our unit. The award is in honor of
Richard Lighton who was Newsletter Chairman and a member of the Board
of Directors of Unit 106. Each year, just prior to the Annual
Dinner, the current Newsletter Editor selects the recipient of the award.
The names of the winners of this award have been put on a plaque that is
presented to the player at the Annual Dinner and that traditionally has
been put on the wall of the bridge club in which this player plays most
